LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS’ LIABILITY. 1. Employer shall provide employees with law enforcement officers’ liability coverage through the use of commercial insurance or self-insurance; provided, such protection shall only be provided to the extent of the terms and conditions of the appropriate commercial insurance policies, or in the case of self-insurance, to the extent provided by and in the manner and means of Ordinance No. 76-1979.
