Common use of LAW & TRAINING Clause in Contracts

LAW & TRAINING. (a) Employees and the Employer and its management shall familiarize themselves with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as amended and the construction industry regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. All employees shall work according to the provisions of this statute and its regulations, plus any additional individual company safety programs which are in effect or that may be instituted during the term of this Agreement. (b) Union and Management will set up a committee for the purpose of establishing guidelines for a training program particularly applicable to the Industry and its working conditions. This committee shall work with such other agencies as can contribute to its success.
