Layoff Determinations. The parties recognize that, to the extent feasible, reductions in work force should be accomplished through attrition. If the Employer wishes to implement a layoff of Registered Nurses, the Employer shall first meet with the Association to explain the rational for the proposed layoff as well as to collaboratively explore concerns which may be raised and possible solutions.
