Layout and Field Engineering. 11.4.1 All field engineering required for layout of this Work and establishing grades for earthwork operations shall be furnished by Developer at its expense. Contractor shall protect and preserve established benchmarks and monuments and shall make no changes in locations without the prior written approval of District. Contractor shall replace any benchmarks or monuments that are lost or destroyed subsequent to proper notification of District and with District's approval.
