Layout and Measurements. 5.9.1. Contractor shall provide two gridlines and one elevation benchmark for each level of work. 5.9.2. Subcontractor is responsible for all taking and confirming all other measurements for proper detailing, fabrication, staging, erection, layout, installation, and otherwise for its Work. 5.9.3. Requests for surveying work by Contractor beyond that set forth in Section 5.9.1 above (i.e., gridlines and/or benchmarks) must be submitted to the Contractor’s Superintendent two (2) weeks before it is needed. Any such additional surveying work shall be provided at Subcontractor’s cost and expense.
