Leave for a Family Member. The Minister may take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave when needed to care for a family member (child, spouse/partner, parent, in-law, or other close family member) with a serious health condition. The Minister must use any accrued sick, study, and/or vacation time first. If accrued paid time off is exhausted, then the remaining leave will be unpaid. During periods of unpaid leave, the Congregation will continue paying its required contributions toward the premiums for health, dental, life, and long term disability insurance, but not employer retirement contributions.
