Immediate Family. Immediate family includes husband, wife, child, stepchild, brother, brother-in-law, stepbrother, sister, sister-in-law, stepsister, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, parent, stepparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, or any person serving as a parent, or who has served as a parent, or any other close person living in the same household as the employee.
Immediate Family. Immediate Family means any Member’s spouse (other than a spouse who is legally separated from the Person under a decree of divorce or separate maintenance), parents, parents-in-law, descendants (including descendants by adoption), brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, children-in-law, and grandchildren-in-law.
Immediate Family includes the Nurse’s spouse (common law); child (step child); parent (step parent); sibling (step-sibling); grandchild (step-grandchild); grandparent; father- in-law, mother-in-law; son-in-law, daughter-in-law, legal guardian and the legal xxxx of the Nurse. The “in law”, legal and “step-relative” relationships referred to in this provision will only be considered “Immediate Family” in cases where it is a current relationship at the time the benefit is claimed.
Immediate Family. The members of your “immediate family” are deemed to include the following: your spouse; your parents; your children; your siblings; your mother-in-law or father-in-law; your sons- and daughters-in-law; and your brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Immediate Family. Immediate family is defined as parent, child, spouse, or domestic partner as defined by California Family Code Section 297.
Immediate Family. In the event of a death of an employee’s immediate family member, the employee may take a leave of absence without loss of pay or leave credits for up to five scheduled workdays between date of the death and the day after the burial. For purposes of bereavement leave, “immediate family member” will mean the following:

As used in this Agreement, "immediate family" shall mean the employee's spouse, children, mother, father, mother-in-law, father- in-law, brothers or sisters, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law step father, step mother, step brother and sister, step children, grandparents, grandchildren and step-grandparents. It also includes other family members who reside permanently with the employee, and any person for whom the employee has been appointed as legal guardian.
Immediate Family. For purposes of sick leave and bereavement leave pursuant to Article 17, immediate family shall be defined to include the spouse/domestic partner, siblings, children, stepchildren, xxxxxx children, grandchildren, wards, grandparents, parents, or parents of a faculty member’s spouse/domestic partner.
