Leave for Extended Serious Health Condition or Disability. A leave for an extended serious health condition or disability is defined as an unpaid leave granted or required by the University for medical reasons after a faculty member has exhausted all accrued paid sick leave, and unpaid FMLA leave. This leave shall be granted to eligible faculty who apply unless the request creates an unreasonable hardship upon the University.
