Leave for Federal/Provincial Union Office. An employee who is elected or appointed to office in the Canadian Union of Public Employees, whether National or Provincial, the duties of which require his/her full-time attendance, may and shall not be unreasonably denied, upon written request, be granted leave of absence without loss of seniority and service for a term not exceeding two (2) years, except whereby the parties agree in writing to extend such leave requests.
