Common use of Leave to Attend Trade Union Training Courses Clause in Contracts

Leave to Attend Trade Union Training Courses. An employee who has been nominated by a union to attend a trade union training course will be granted up to five days leave in any one calendar year to enable attendance. An Employee may be granted paid leave under this clause in excess of five days and up to ten days in any one calendar year subject to the total leave taken in that calendar year and in the subsequent calendar year not exceeding ten days.
