AUTHORITY TO PRACTICE The CONTRACTOR hereby represents and warrants that it has and will continue to maintain all licenses and approvals required to, conduct its business, and that it will at all times conduct its business activities in a reputable manner. Proof of such licenses and approvals shall be submitted to the COUNTY upon request.
LEGAL AUTHORITY The Contractor warrants and assures H-GAC that it possesses adequate legal authority to enter into this Agreement. The Contractor's governing body, where applicable, has authorized the signatory official(s) to enter into this Agreement and bind the Contractor to the terms of this Agreement and any subsequent amendments hereto.
LEGAL AUTHORIZATION (a) The Sub-Recipient certifies that it has the legal authority to receive the funds under this Agreement and that its governing body has authorized the execution and acceptance of this Agreement. The Sub-Recipient also certifies that the undersigned person has the authority to legally execute and bind Sub-Recipient to the terms of this Agreement.
AUTHORITY TO TRANSACT BUSINESS The Contractor must, pursuant to Code of Virginia § 2.2-4311.2, be and remain authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia during the entire term of this Contract. Otherwise, the Contract is voidable at the sole option of and with no expense to the County.
Legal Authorities The CMPPA establishes procedural requirements for agencies to follow when engaging in computer-matching activities.
Authority to File The Aggrieved Person may request an expedited Appeal either orally or in writing.
Authority to Execute Each person executing this Agreement represents and warrants that he or she is duly authorized and has legal authority to execute and deliver this Agreement. Each party represents and warrants to the other that the execution and delivery of this Agreement and the performance of such party’s obligations hereunder have been duly authorized. Authority to Contract Each party represents and warrants that it has full power and authority to enter into this Agreement and perform its obligations hereunder, and that it has taken all actions necessary to authorize entering into this Agreement.
Authority to Bind Contractor The signatory for the Contractor represents that he/she has been duly authorized to execute this Contract on behalf of the Contractor and has obtained all necessary or applicable approvals to make this Contract fully binding upon the Contractor when his/her signature is affixed, and accepted by the State.
AUTHORITY TO MODIFY No modification or change in this Agreement shall be valid and enforceable against UNICEF unless provided by a written amendment to this Agreement signed by a duly authorized officer of UNICEF and an Authorized Officer of IP.
