LEGAL STATUS OF THE PARTIES. 2.1 Pursuant, inter alia, to the Charter of the United Nations and the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, the United Nations, including its subsidiary organs, has full juridical personality and enjoys such privileges and immunities as are necessary for the independent fulfillment of its purposes. 2.2 The Innovator shall be considered as having the legal status of an independent contractor vis-à-vis the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Innovator’s personnel and sub-contractors shall not be considered in any respect as being the employees or agents of UNDP or the United Nations.
