Lessor Disclaimer. Lessee(s) acknowledges Lessor’s adoption of a non-smoking living environment, and the efforts to designate portions of the Property as non-smoking does not in any way change the standard of care that the Lessor or managing agent has under applicable law to render the Property any safer, more habitable or improved in terms of air quality standards than any other rental premises. Lessor specifically disclaims any implied or express warranties that the Property will have any higher or improved air quality standards than any other rental property. Lessor cannot and does not warranty or promise that the Property will be free from secondhand smoke. Lessee(s) acknowledges that Xxxxxx’s ability to police, monitor or enforce this Addendum is dependent insignificant part on voluntary compliance by Lessee(s) and Xxxxxx’s guests. Lessee’s with respiratory ailments, allergies or other condition relating to smoke are put on notice that Lessor does not assume any higher duty of care to enforce this Addendum than any other obligation under the rental agreement. Garbage Disposals:  Use cold water and keep water running constantly while disposal is in operation. Failure to turn on the water before turning on the disposal can cause drain blockage.  Also, to prevent drain blockage, allow water to flow for a sufficient time after grinding is completed to be sure all waste is flushed away. A minimum of 15 seconds is recommended.  Turn disposal ON before feeding food into the disposal.  DO NOT grind bread, rice, seeds, bones, potatoes, or noodles. These starchy items become pasty and clog the disposals and drainpipes. Dishwashers:  Make sure to rinse your dishes before placing in the dishwasher.  DO NOT leave bread, rice, seeds, bones, potatoes, or noodles on dishes. These items again can become pasty and clogs the dishwasher and drainpipes.
