Letter of Appointment - Adjuncts. (a) For Term Adjuncts a letter of appointment shall describe the Member’s responsibilities either for the next academic year or for the period of the appointment. The letter shall set out for the next year the courses which will be taught by the Member, the compensation per course, per term or per year, and all non-teaching obligations. If the teaching responsibilities are set out over a period longer than one (1) year, in each year the Member must be assured the minimum number of courses to remain within the Bargaining Unit.

The letter shall set out for the next year including the courses which will be taught by the Member, the compensation per course, per term or per for the year, and all non-teaching obligations. For renewable adjuncts, a letter of appointment can either set out responsibilities on an annual basis or cover the three (3) year period. If the teaching responsibilities are set out over a period longer than one three (13) yearyear period, in each year the Member must be assured the minimum number of courses to remain within the Bargaining Unit.
