Letter of Understanding -Joint Health and Safety Initiatives Council. For the purposes of this Council, items may include, but are not limited to, discussions on promoting and maintaining healthy workplace initiatives, healthy lifestyles, ergonomics, and return to work. The Council will consist of two members from each party (not including staff members) for a total of four members and will meet on a quarterly basis. The parties agree that the Union members on the committee shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regularly scheduled working hours in attending committee meetings. The parties will meet within days of the ratification of the Memorandum of settlement to agree on the work of the Council, including costs, and other items as deemed appropriate.
