Common use of Liability for Cleanup Expenses Clause in Contracts

Liability for Cleanup Expenses. In addition to Tenant’s other obligations and liabilities under the Ground Lease, Tenant shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred by the City to remove or destroy the Building or any personal property required to be removed under Section 8.1; or to dispose of the Building or any personal property abandoned under Section 8.2; and, if Tenant fails to leave the Leased Premises and surrendered property in clean and leasable condition, to put the Leased Premises in that condition.

In addition to Tenant’s other obligations and liabilities under the this Ground Lease, Tenant shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred by the City to remove or destroy the Building Facility or any personal property required to be removed under Section 8.18.1 (Surrender of Leased Premises); or to dispose of the Building Facility or any personal property abandoned under Section 8.28.2 (Abandonment of Tenant’s Facility, or any Personal Property); and, if Tenant fails to leave the Leased Premises and surrendered property in clean and leasable condition, to put the Leased Premises in that condition.
