Common use of Life Safety and Security Costs Clause in Contracts

Life Safety and Security Costs. All costs to install, maintain and repair all life safety systems, including, without limitation, (a) all fire alarm systems, serving the Premises, the Building and/or the Project or any part thereof (including all maintenance contracts and fees payable to life safety consultants) whether such systems are or shall be required by Landlord’s insurance carriers, laws applicable to the Building and/or Project or otherwise, and (b) all costs of security and security systems at the Project, including, without limitation; (i) wages and salaries (including management fees) of all employees engaged in the security of the Project; (ii) all supplies, materials, equipment, and devices used in the security of the Project, and any upgrades thereto; and (iii) all service or maintenance contracts with independent contractors for Project security, including, without limitation, alarm service personnel, security guards, watchmen, and any other security personnel.
