Limitation on Application for Vacancy. Any employee may apply for a position vacancy; however, an employee's application for a position vacancy which would result in either a lateral or downward classification appointment will not necessarily be considered in the event that the employee has not completed an employment period of sixty (60) working days in his/her present job, or in a job for which an offer of employment has been unconditionally accepted.
