Limitation Years Beginning Before January 1, 2000. If any Participant presently participates, or has ever participated, under a defined benefit plan maintained by the Employer, then the sum of the defined benefit plan fraction and the defined contribution plan fraction for such Participant for any Limitation Year beginning before January 1, 2000 must not exceed 1.0. To the extent necessary to satisfy the limitation under this Section 3.5, the Employer will reduce its contribution or allocation on behalf of any such Participant to the defined contribution plan under which such Participant participates and then, if necessary, such Participant’s projected annual benefit under the defined benefit plan under which such Participant participates.
