Limitations, General. 1. ▇▇▇▇ leave absences because of death in the employee's immediate family shall not exceed 80 hours in each instance. 2. Employees absent on sick leave 15 consecutive working days or longer shall not be permitted to return to duty without a physician's certificate attesting to the employee's ability to perform his normal duties. 3. The 80 hour limitation provided for in paragraph (1) of this section may be increased under special circumstances if approved by the General Manager or designee.
