Common use of Limited E-Mail Access Clause in Contracts

Limited E-Mail Access. The City will allow Union members who have e-mail privileges to use e-mail to send brief messages concerning Union business via the City system. Unless specifically agreed to otherwise, these messages will be limited to matters pertaining to scheduling (union meetings, etc.) and communications with management and representatives of the union (including shop stewards) concerning the administration of the collective bargaining agreement. This will include use of the Internet e-mail subject to the same restrictions. (Note: The City email system is not confidential, and these communications may not be private.)
