The other grade levels will remain in their rooms and students may play board games, cards, or socialize. They may not have hand-held electronic games or CD players in the school building. There will be no videos watched during lunch/recess time and access to school computers is not allowed. Homework is not to be done during lunch/recess time; it is a time to relax and socialize. During lunch and recess, students are to obey the “Hands Off” policy. This policy is in place to help keep all students safe and happy. Therefore, no tackle sports will be permitted. Any activity considered unsafe by the lunch supervisors will be stopped immediately. Each student is responsible for having the necessary materials each school day. Nothing should be brought directly to the child’s classroom during school hours. If necessary, please drop off student items in the school office. All student textbooks should be well cared for and should be carried to and from school in a book bag. Children who lose, deface or destroy books will be asked to pay to replace books.
