Lost Checks. Any paycheck that is lost after receipt or that is not delivered within seven (7) days of mailing, shall be replaced not later than five (5) working days following the unit member's written request to the Payroll Department for replacement of the check. For unit members who have automatic deposit, any pay warrant not deposited on the date of the automatic deposit shall be replaced not later than three (3) working days following the unit member’s written request to the Payroll Department for replacement of the check.

Lost Checks. Any paycheck for an employee in the bargaining unit which is lost after receipt or which is not delivered within five (5) days of mailing, if mailed, shall be replaced not later than ten (10) working days following the employee's verified request of the District Business Office for replacement of the check and determination and verification by the District Business Office of such loss or non- delivery.

Upon notification, the Employer will issue a replacement check to the Employee once the Employer’s account has received a return of the monies. 6.5.2 If, subsequent to the Unit Member signing an affidavit of loss, the original payroll check is found, the Unit Member shall surrender the original warrant to the County Auditor’s Offices. 6.5.3 Any and all other requirements currently in existence, or enacted in the future, by County Ordinance or Government Code, relating to this section shall be observed by the Employer and the affected Unit Member.
