Low Census Call Clause Samples

A Low Census Call clause allows a service provider, such as a healthcare facility, to reduce or cancel scheduled services when the number of clients or patients falls below a predetermined threshold. In practice, this means that if patient admissions or occupancy rates are lower than expected, the provider can adjust staffing levels or service commitments accordingly, often with limited notice. The core function of this clause is to provide operational flexibility and cost control, ensuring that resources are not unnecessarily allocated during periods of low demand.
