LTL cargo – US Domestic moves. 9.15.1.1 Customer is responsible for choosing carrier for each load 9.15.1.2 Shipper has to use Bill Of Lading (BOL) provided by iContainers USA only to avoid misbilling, misrouting and misclassification of cargo and misrouting of both cargo and invoicing. If shipper is using their own BOL, an incorrect BOL or a different BOL than BOL provided by iContainers USA. All misbilling charges will be on the account of the customer. 9.15.1.3 Shipper is responsible for proper and professional palletizing or crating of cargo so cargo is as safe as possible during transit. 9.15.1.4 Shipper is responsible for loading truck. Consignee is responsible for unloading truck. 9.15.1.5 Shipper can and will overrule a cancellation of shipment by releasing cargo to a driver despite driver not asking for the cargo. Shipper can overrule use of chosen carrier by releasing freight to different carrier. Any decision made by shipper will be on account of the customer. 9.15.1.6 For haz mat shipments, shipper is responsible for providing IMO DG Declaration with emergency contact info. 9.15.1.7 Standard LTL carriers operate on normal business hours Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. 9.15.1.8 Transit Times are estimates, not guaranteed.
