Maintenance & Accessibility. 1. The College Office of Human Resources/Employee Relations shall maintain an official personnel file(s) for each academic employee. Each administrative unit shall maintain an official file for each academic employee employed through that unit. 2. These personnel files shall be accessible during normal business hours to the academic employee, his/her authorized representative, the official bargaining representative for representational matters, appropriate administrative unit head, College President, appropriate vice president, and Office of Human Resources staff, or as otherwise required by operation of law. Other individuals shall not have access without specific authorization from the Vice President for Human Resources and Legal Affairs, or the appropriate administrative unit head.
