Common use of Malpractice/Professional Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Malpractice/Professional Liability Insurance. This section shall | shall not apply to this Grant. Grantee, Subgrantees and Subcontractors shall maintain in full force and effect a Professional Liability Insurance Policy in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 in the aggregate, written on an occurrence form, that provides coverage for its work undertaken pursuant to this Grant. If a policy written on an occurrence form is not commercially available, the claims-made policy shall remain in effect for the duration of this Grant and for at least two years beyond the completion and acceptance of the work under this Grant, or, alternatively, a two year extended reporting period must be purchased. The Grantee, Subgrantee or Subcontractor shall be responsible for all claims, damages, losses or expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of or resulting from such party’s performance of professional services under this Grant, a subcontract or subgrant.
