Managing Clerk. A managing clerk is an employee who has charge of and general supervision over not more than one store, and attends to and is responsible for the proper checking and collection of the cash and receipts, and the ordering of merchandise at said store, and is generally the nominal head or fore­ man thereof.

Managing Clerk. Every store shall have a managing clerk at all times unless the Employer or a supervisor within the meaning of the National Labor Relations Act, as amended, is actively engaged on the premises performing the work of a managing clerk. A managing clerk is a non-supervisory employee who who has charge of and general supervision over not more than one store, or attends to and is responsible for the proper collection of cash and receipts, or the ordering of merchandise at the said store. In the event the Employer or Supervisor is absent from the store for more than one day a week, a clerk shall receive the wage scale of a managing clerk for said work.

Managing Clerk. A managing clerk is an employee who acts for and on behalf of the owner and who has one or more of the following duties in any one store. In addition to his work as clerk he has charge of and general supervision over not more than one store; or attends to the proper accounting and collection of the cash and receipts of the business; or has charge of the ordering of merchandise for the store; or is gen­ erally the nominal head or xxxxxxx thereof. In each store there shall be one managing clerk; provided, how­ ever, that in stores where the owner works actively on the premises the major part of the time performing the duties of a managing clerk, no managing clerk will be required. No managing clerk shall be employed for less than a full work week. (Absence from work due to illness or emergency excepted.)
