Mandatory Continuing Airworthiness Actions. In the case of mandatory continuing airworthiness actions, each airworthiness authority shall keep the other fully informed by telephone or fax without delay of its intent to issue and the final issuance of all mandatory airworthiness modifications, special limitations, or special inspections which are determined to be necessary on products designed or manufactured in either State (see paragraph 3.4.1.2 for telephone and fax numbers). The issuing airworthiness authority shall identify the safety problem (unsafe condition) requiring the mandatory continuing airworthiness action. In the case of emergency airworthiness information, the issuing airworthiness authority should ensure special handling so that the other airworthiness authority is notified immediately and can take appropriate parallel action within the constraints of the original action.
Mandatory Continuing Airworthiness Actions. (See Appendix C, Paragraph C5.1(b)). Each Party’s implementing authority shall, for the products, appliances, and parts for which it is the State of Design (exporting authority), issue a mandatory continuing airworthiness action (Airworthiness Directive) whenever the implementing authority determines that an unsafe condition exists in a type certificated product or appliance, and is likely to exist or develop on a type certificated product or appliance of the same type design. This may include a product or appliance that has another product, part, or appliance installed on it and the installation causes the unsafe condition.

  • Unbundled Loop Modifications (Line Conditioning 2.5.1 Line Conditioning is defined as routine network modification that BellSouth regularly undertakes to provide xDSL services to its own customers. This may include the removal of any device, from a copper Loop or copper Sub-loop that may diminish the capability of the Loop or Sub-loop to deliver high-speed switched wireline telecommunications capability, including xDSL service. Such devices include, but are not limited to, load coils, excessive bridged taps, low pass filters, and range extenders. Excessive bridged taps are bridged taps that serves no network design purpose and that are beyond the limits set according to industry standards and/or the XxxxXxxxx XX 00000.

  • Environmentally Preferable Procurement Policy The Environmentally Preferable Procurement Policy, along with a brief policy description, is located on the City’s website at the following link: xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/esd/natural-energy-resources/epp.htm. Environmental procurement policies and activities related to the completion of any Work will include, whenever practicable, but are not limited to:  The use of recycled and/or recyclable products in daily operations (i.e. 30%, 50%, 100% PCW paper, chlorine process free, triclosan free hand cleaner, etc.);  The use of energy-star compliant equipment;  The use of alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles, and implementation of protocols aimed at increasing the efficiency of vehicle operation;  The implementation of internal waste reduction and reuse protocol(s); and  Water and resource conservation activities within facilities, including bans on individual serving bottled water and the use of compostable food service products.

  • SPECIAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS The Special Contract Requirements are provisions that relate directly to the performance of this contract.
