Mandatory Participation for Permanent Unit Members. 8.2.1 Any evaluation performed pursuant to this article, which contains one or more ratings of “unsatisfactory”, or a continued “needs improvement” in areas 1, 2, 3 or 4 of an employee’s performance evaluation requires that the certificated employee shall participate in the Peer Assistance and Review Program. Unit members with one “needs improvement” will be encouraged, but not mandated to participate in the program.
