Maximum Hours Received. An employee may receive up to 90 days (522 hours) per event, with a total of 261 days (2088 hours) of shared leave over his or her their entire career of state employment. The Employer may authorize leave in excess of the above limits in extraordinary circumstances. A non- permanent or on-call employee who is eligible to use accrued leave or personal holiday may not use shared leave beyond the termination date specified in the non-permanent or on-call employee's appointment letter.
