Common use of Meat Cutters and Wrappers/Meat Clerks Clause in Contracts

Meat Cutters and Wrappers/Meat Clerks. All five (5) day employees required to perform a shift including Sunday shall receive two (2) consecutive days off in the workweek. Five (5) day employees not working on Sunday shall receive Sunday and one (1) other day off. All work performed on Sundays by full-time, part-time and/or extra employees hired prior to March 1, 2004, except those promoted after the March 1, 2004, shall be paid, for all hours worked on Sunday, time and one-quarter (1 ¼ ) the straight-time hourly rate of pay for each covered classification. Extra Meat Department employees working on Sunday shall be paid for their full eight (8) hour shift at the applicable rates for Sunday.
