Common use of Medical, Dental, Legal Appointment Leave Clause in Contracts

Medical, Dental, Legal Appointment Leave. The Employer shall provide all nurses leave without loss of regular pay, to a maximum of twenty-two and a half (22.5) hours per year, to attend medical, dental and legal appointments, where such appointments cannot be arranged outside of working hours. It is understood that a Nurse who is a parent of a dependent child may use this leave for the same purposes for that child. Employees shall provide as much notice as is reasonably possible. Total Leave under this Article shall not exceed 22.5 hours.
