Common use of Medical Insurance Benefits Clause in Contracts

Medical Insurance Benefits. During the term of the MOU, the City agrees to contract with the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) for the purpose of providing employees and their eligible dependents with medical insurance benefits. The City will pay the minimum employer contribution required under PEMHCA for each eligible active employee towards the purchase of medical insurance.
