Common use of Meet and Xxxxxx Clause in Contracts

Meet and Xxxxxx. Notwithstanding the provisions of 5.1 above, it is agreed that subject to the following procedures, the District will meet and confer, in good faith, with the Union on all matters of job classification, hiring, promotion, and transfers which require Board action or which would be referred to the Board.

Notwithstanding the provisions of 5.1 above, it is agreed that subject to the following procedures, the District will notify the Union and, upon request, meet and confer, in good faith, with the Union on all matters of job classification, hiring, promotion, and transfers which involve bargaining unit positions and either require Board action or which would be referred to where the Boardmatter is placed on the Board agenda (even if Board action is not required).
