Common use of Meeting with the Board Clause in Contracts

Meeting with the Board. If the disposition of the grievance at Step II is not satisfactory to the grievant, he may request a hearing with the Board following a review by the CGSEA. This request must be made within ten (10) working days of the decision by the Superintendent. This request must be made in writing and the grievance and the written disposition of the grievance at each step must be attached. The request shall be made through the Superintendent who will arrange a meeting of the Board. The Board shall review the grievance and hold a hearing if requested. A decision in writing will be rendered within ten (10) working days of the next meeting of the Board. The decision will be sent to the grievant, the CGSEA, and the principal or supervisor.
