Membership or Fair Share Obligation. If a bargaining unit nurse 31 fails to exercise one of the options described below for non-membership, the nurse shall 32 have sixty (60) calendar days following the date of employment within which to join the 33 ONA or commit contractually to pay to the ONA the equivalent of union dues as a fair 1 share contribution. A nurse who has not effectively opted out or committed to payments 2 to the ONA may thereafter, on demand of the ONA, be terminated by the Hospital.
