Common use of Membership Term Clause in Contracts

Membership Term. The Membership Term, and Member’s obligations to pay monthly Membership Dues, will start as of the date listed above, and will end on the last day of the twelfth month following the start date (“Membership End Date”). For example, if the start date is noted as September 1st, the membership term will end on September 30th of the following year. If the Membership Term begins on a date other than the first of the month, Membership Dues will be prorated for the remainder of that month. The term of Month­to­Month Memberships will begin on the first day of the month and end on the last day of the same month. Membership Dues for Month­to­Month Memberships will not be prorated based on the actual start date if after the first of the month.
