Common use of Merchants’ Association Clause in Contracts

Merchants’ Association. If and when an association or corporation of merchants or lessees (the “Association”) is formed comprising tenants of the City Market, the Lessee shall forthwith become a member of such Association or if such an Association has already been formed, the Lessee shall forthwith become a member thereof and the Lessee shall retain its membership in such Association during the entire Term and shall abide by all rules, regulations, by-laws, decisions, directions, dues and assessments of the Association. Such Association shall in no way affect the rights of the Lessor and any by-laws, rules and regulations of such Association shall at all times be subject to the prior approval of the Lessor.
