Metering and Data Collection. 5.1 Meters Throughout the Operating Period the Seller shall procure that the Metering Equipment and Distribution Connection Meters are installed, operated and maintained in accordance with Good Industry Practice and all applicable Laws, Directives and Industry Agreements. The Corporation shall be entitled to install, operate and maintain at its own expense and risk, check meters if it so desires. The Seller shall not interfere with, alter, modify or remove any of the Metering Equipment or Distribution Connection Meters, without giving written notice to the Corporation, save where such alteration, modification or removal is required by the Competent Authority or in an emergency (in which case written notice need not be given to the Corporation).

Metering and Data Collection. Apart from any checking or back up meters that may be installed, metering will be carried out according to the Operation Manual / Regional Metering Code and this metering will have precedence to any other metering or estimations. In case of discrepancies this has to be treated as a dispute and referred to the corresponding dispute resolution procedures, The operation of the Metering System including data acquisition, data transmission and data processing will be done according to the Operation Manual / Regional Metering Code, The Meters shall be calibrated and tested by the SMO in accordance with the Regional Metering Code and the results will be accepted by the parties.
