Common use of Metering Errors Clause in Contracts

Metering Errors. Edison shall immediately notify ESP of any error in usage data from any meter read by Edison, or of any Metering Facilities that are not operating in accordance with applicable Metering Standards. Each party may adjust its own Charges to reflect any underbilling or overbilling resulting from an error in usage data or for any period during which a meter failed to comply with applicable Metering Standards. Edison shall be responsible for calculating and supplying ESP with corrected usage information for any such period.

Each party Party may adjust its own Charges to reflect any underbilling or overbilling resulting from an error in usage metering data or for any period during which a meter failed to comply with applicable Metering Standards. Edison ESP shall be responsible for calculating and supplying ESP Edison with corrected usage information for any such period. Edison may read any meter to verify the accuracy of ESP’s meter read.
