The Bidder shall demonstrate adequate construction experience and sufficient equipment resources to properly perform the work under and in conformance with the Contract Documents. This evaluation will be based upon a list of completed or active projects and a list of construction equipment available to the Bidder to perform the work. The Owner may make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the Bidder to perform the Work, and the Bidder shall furnish to the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may reasonably request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Contract Documents and to complete the Project contemplated therein. 3. The Bidder shall demonstrate financial resources of sufficient strength to meet the obligations incident to the performance of the Work covered by the Contract Documents. The ability to obtain the required Performance and Payment Bonds will not alone demonstrate adequate financial capability.

METHOD OF AWARD. A. Please submit bids on items to be furnished in accordance with all conditions and specifications. BIDDER MUST SPECIFY UNIT PRICE, MANUFACTURER, ITEM NUMBER, MFG CODE, BRAND, and PACK/SIZE. All bids must be presented on the form(s) provided online, without interlineation or alteration. All bidders submitting bids shall acknowledge and abide by the Co-op’s decision without recourse. It is the intent of the Co-op to award contract AS A WHOLE. Award is contingent upon timely compliance with all Bid Conditions and Specifications, which must be satisfied prior to beginning of service under the Contract. As a result of the bid, if awarded, the Contract will be awarded according to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder whose Bid meets authority granted the requirements and criteria set forth in Treasure Valley Co-op, using the Contract DocumentsDistributor Rating Scale, Attachment 9. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded by base bid on a lump sum basis, comprised of unit prices, for the performance and completion of all Work required by the Contract Documents. B. Any contract or purchase order issued pursuant to this bid invitation, and any monies, which may become due hereunder, are not alone demonstrate adequate financial capabilityassignable except with the written consent of the Co-op members.
