Method of Payment for Type A Less Than. 12 Months Should an employee who is employed for less than 12 months and greater than or equal to eight months wish to have their salary paid over 12 months they can make application to do so by writing to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources prior to August 1 of any year. If they want to revert back to being paid over their period of employment rather than over 12 months they must request to do so to the Associate Vice President by August 1.
