Metric 2: Groundwater Elevations Sample Clauses

Metric 2: Groundwater Elevations. Implementation Milestone: The Program will demonstrate improvement to groundwater elevations near the Cosumnes River through groundwater elevation monitoring at one or more representative shallow monitoring xxxxx located between approximately 0.5 and 1 mile from the Cosumnes River. Monitoring well MW-7 will serve as the representative monitoring well unless the Parties mutually agree to use additional or different suitable well(s). In Program Years 1 through 10, the Program will monitor October groundwater elevations annually to establish an improved, relatively stable elevation, which will allow for comparison to future elevations (comparison level) and show general trends of improvement. The Program will use the five-year average October groundwater elevation measured during Program Years 6-10 as the comparison level for which the Performance Threshold is evaluated. This five-year period is assumed to be representative of average hydrologic conditions and comparable to future five- year periods assumed to be representative of average hydrologic conditions. If multiple representative monitoring xxxxx are used, then an average value across all representative xxxxx will be used for the comparison level. Performance Threshold: Starting Program Year 15 and continuing every five years thereafter, the five-year average October groundwater elevation measured at MW-7, or other representative monitoring well(s) if agreed by the Parties, will be at or above (shallower) than the comparison level established as the five-year average determined for Program Years 6-10.

Related to Metric 2: Groundwater Elevations

  • Groundwater The groundwater shall not be degraded as a result of the waste maintained at the facility.

  • Surface  Grade and shape the road surface, turnouts, and shoulders to the original shape on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Inslope or outslope as directed to provide a smooth, rut-free traveled surface and maintain surface water runoff in an even, unconcentrated manner.  Blading shall not undercut the backslope or cut into geotextile fabric on the road.  If required by the Contract Administrator, water shall be applied as necessary to control dust and retain fine surface rock.  Surface material shall not be bladed off the roadway. Replace surface material when lost or worn away, or as directed by the Contract Administrator.  Remove shoulder berms, created by grading, to facilitate drainage, except as marked or directed by the Contract Administrator.  For roads with geotextile fabric: spread surface aggregate to fill in soft spots and wheel ruts (barrel spread) to prevent damage to the geotextile fabric.

  • Vegetation No trees or other vegetation may be removed from the site without prior approval from the Town, except in accordance with Section 4 above and pursuant to the Annual Plan.

  • Potable Water Contractor shall provide potable water and ice for the Stage 2 Site use, and ensure that a safe and plentiful supply of potable water and ice is available for all activities on the Stage 2 Site until Substantial Completion of Subproject 3. The water and ice for human consumption shall be of suitable quality.

  • Road Surfaces (1) Grade, shape, crown, and/or outslope surface and shoulders.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins.

  • Fill, Backfill and Landscaping No soil found on Site, or transported to the Site from remote locations, which contains debris or waste or Hazardous Materials shall be used for fill, backfill or landscaping topsoil.

  • Subloop Elements 2.8.1 Where facilities permit, BellSouth shall offer access to its Unbundled Subloop (USL) elements as specified herein.

  • Irrigation The City shall provide water to the Premises for the purpose of irrigating the facility. The City specifically reserves the right to restrict water usage under this Agreement if water restrictions are placed on other water users within the City. Prior to the start of the season, City will provide charge up and run through the automatic irrigation systems to check for proper operation. City will provide Lessee with a radio for remote operation of the irrigation system, which Lessee shall use for the day to day maintenance, repair, and monitoring of the irrigation system. If the radio is lost, stolen, broken, or is rendered unusable, Lessee shall pay $1500 for the replacement radio. City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the following irrigation elements, to the extent applicable: curb stops, backflow prevention devices, backflow enclosures, main line pipings, electric control valves, and controllers. Lessee shall notify Parks Division Water managers by email if any of these irrigation elements are malfunctioning or broken.

  • Subsurface Conditions Unless the Contract Documents stipulate specific quantities and units of rock or unsuitable soils, the Contractor shall assume material below the surface of the Earth to be earth and other material that can be removed by power shovel or similar equipment. Should conditions encountered below the surface of the ground be at variance to the number of unit requirements as indicated by drawings or specifications, and absent an agreed-upon unit price established prior to the bid by Addendum, or after contract execution by Change Order, the Contract Sum and/or time shall be adjusted as provided in the Contract Documents for changes in the work.
