Common use of Metrics of Student Outcomes Committee Clause in Contracts

Metrics of Student Outcomes Committee. The Association and Board agree to establish a standing joint committee to meet as needed for the sole purpose of developing, reviewing, and amending the list of Metric of Student Outcomes approved for use in the school counselor evaluation. A counselor and a principal may choose another student metric outcome, subject to the approval of the committee. Committee Composition a. The committee shall be comprised of three (3) Association members appointed by the Association President and two (2) members appointed by the Superintendent. Members of the committee shall receive training on the creation of Metrics of Student Outcomes and their application to the Ohio Counselor Evaluation System. The cost, if any, shall be borne by the Board. b. The members of the committee shall be representative of the elementary school(s), the middle school(s), and the secondary school(s). c. At the conclusion of the Association member’s term or removal therefrom, the Association shall appoint a successor.
