Middle Schools and High Schools. Teachers shall have one (1) unassigned period per day, except that a teacher may be programmed unassigned periods totaling five (5) unassigned periods per week over four (4) days if scheduling problems make it impossible to provide a teacher with one (1) unassigned period per day.
