MIDDLE SCHOOLS Personal Planning Time. The middle school teachers shall have one duty-free and uninterrupted period for personal planning time. Team Planning Time Each middle school teacher shall receive team planning time during the school day. The period shall be uninterrupted and duty free time for members of a particular team to meet. If such time is not provided during the school day, each middle school teacher shall have two hours per week available at the end of the school day for teaming or in-service planning. This planning time shall occur in the school building, will be paid at the “other hourly assignment rate, and participation is voluntary. Team planning time is to be used exclusively for team planning consistent with the contract.
