Minimum Qualifications/Requirements. In the event that a tenure track position has a limited pool of applicants, causing it to be necessary to hire a candidate whose qualifications do not meet the minimum required for the position, the candidate will be required to meet the minimum qualifications for the position they are to hold by the end of the probationary period. Minimum criteria must be met before the award of tenure. The candidate will be placed when hired on the salary schedule as if they met the minimum qualifications for the position.
