Common use of Minimum Usage Clause in Contracts

Minimum Usage. There is a minimum usage of Earned Time days required each year, as follows: Years of Service Minimum Usage per Year First Full Year 8 days After 10 18 days For the purposes of this section, “years of service” refers to a full calendar year of employment. There is no minimum usage requirement for an employee’s first partial calendar year of employment. Computation of minimum usage will occur as of December 31st of each full year of employment. Days converted into the Sick Leave Pool do not count towards minimum usage.
