Common use of MINIMUM WAGE LAWS Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM WAGE LAWS. 7 A. Pursuant to the United States of America Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended, and 8 State of California Labor Code, §1178.5, CONTRACTOR shall pay no less than the greater of the federal 9 or California Minimum Wage to all its Covered Individuals (as defined within the “Compliance” 10 paragraph of this Agreement) that directly or indirectly provide services pursuant to this Agreement, in 11 any manner whatsoever. CONTRACTOR shall require and verify that all of its Covered Individuals 12 providing services pursuant to this Agreement be paid no less than the greater of the federal or California 13 Minimum Wage.

MINIMUM WAGE LAWS. 7 8 A. Pursuant to the United States of America Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended, and 8 9 State of California Labor Code, §1178.5, CONTRACTOR shall pay no less than the greater of the 10 federal 9 or California Minimum Wage to all its Covered Individuals (as defined within the “Compliance” 10 paragraph of this Agreement) employees that directly or indirectly provide services 11 pursuant to this Agreement, in 11 any manner whatsoever. CONTRACTOR shall require and verify that 12 all of its Covered Individuals 12 contractors or other persons providing services pursuant to this Agreement be paid on behalf of 13 CONTRACTOR also pay their employees no less than the greater of the federal or California 13 Minimum 14 Wage.
